BB Creams vs. CC Creams – What’s Better?

Stepping out of the house can be a little hesitating if you have zero make-up on and your skin is super patchy and uneven. Foundations are not a product that can be used on daily basis. They’re just too heavy for the skin. But, then what’s a better option. There’s BB cream and CC cream and both are beauty products. Both work as a base but the question is, what’s better? If you too have questions regarding BB cream and CC cream, here’s a post that will explain to you in detail what both the products are good at.

Beauty Balms – BB Creams

BB creams also known as Beauty Balms or Blemish Balms have recently started becoming quite popular. It is mostly because of Korean Beauty techniques. As the name suggests, BB creams not only cover the spots, blemishes, and unevenness but also help you heal them. They contain SPF which gives protection against the sun and have a number of different skin-benefiting ingredients like hyaluronic acid. They have a medium to light coverage and try giving your skin a natural yet flawless finish. You can consider this a tinted moisturizer and it is quite safe to use for daily wear. There are a number of good BB creams that you can add to your makeup stash.

Color Correcting – CC Creams

CC creams, also known as color correcting or color control creams can also be considered as tinted moisturizers. As the name suggests, these are great to even out your skin tone by addressing problems like sallowness and redness. They have a better coverage compared to BB creams and have similar properties as well. CC creams are better at addressing all the skincare concerns along with giving your skin color-correcting concealer and foundation feels.
