Government Imposes Ban on Public Gatherings Due to Increasing Coronavirus Patients

The Pakistani Government this Sunday announced in Islamabad that Section-144 to be imposed nationwide in response to the increasing number of Coronavirus Patients.

The Section-144 states that there will be a ban on public gatherings to curb the increasing number of the disease and to save people to be put at risk.

The Sindh and Punjab government has urged people to stay precautions and practice Social Distancing to avoid the spread of this pandemic.

According to the chief secretary, this section bans public gatherings, sit-in, processions, weddings etc and also stated the educational institutions to remain closed for at least three weeks.

As of now, a total of 130 plus Coronavirus patients are confirmed in Pakistan.
