11 Genius Cleaning Hacks You Wish You Knew Before!

The smell and sight of a freshly cleaned and spotless house is something we all love and want!

But, the part that gets to us is, is actually doing it!

When you have a busy schedule and hectic routine, those “cleaning days” weekends end up clashing with plans and you can’t always take out time to clean your house like you want to!

Let’s face it, the scrubbing, wiping and cleaning the nooks and crannies of your home that you often ignore is our least favourite chore (unless you’re a super clean freak then we envy you!)

If you’re the too-lazy-to-clean type, then we have some super easy and handy cleaning hacks that are definitely gonna save your time.. and life because come on, hygiene is what makes one stay healthy!

Easy cleaning hacks that’ll make your house shine:

1) Clean your Windows and Blinds with a Water, Vinegar, and Socks!

Make your windows and blinds dust-free and spotless by mixing a 50-50 water and vinegar solution and use a sock in between the blinds to clean the dust and marks easily! And your windows will sparkle too!


2) Remove Tea Stains from the Carpet with Baking Soda and Liquid Dish Soap.

Did your Sis spill the tea literally? Worry not, by mixing 2 tablespoons of baking soda with liquid dish soda will help the tough and dry tea and coffee stains fade completely! Use a fine sponge for better results.


3) Use Hydrogen Peroxide and Baking Soda to Remove Grease and Food Gunks from Stove!

We all hate gunky and gross looking stained stoves and burners. If you want to make your stove look new then use Hydrogen Peroxide mixed with Bleach and wipe those stubborn stains using a wet sponge. Make sure you wear gloves before doing this!


4) Clean Your Steel Faucets With Water and Aluminum Foil!

Hate the water stains and scratches on your faucet? Just use warm water and a small piece of aluminum foil to and scrub those faucets. You’ll see the results yourself!


5) White Vinegar and Light Detergent to Remove Pen Stain from Walls

If you have young kids then you must face this problem a lot! No more being embarrassed by scribbles on walls as you can easily clean the tough pen, crayon and pencil stains from walls by using water, a little soft detergent, and white vinegar mixture. Use a soft sponge to wipe the wall. Make you don’t scrub the wall too harshly.


6) Got a Sticky Burnt Stain on Iron? Use a Paracetamol Tablet!

This trick works wonders! All you need to do is heat up your Press Iron, switch it off, grab any Paracetamol tablet and scrub it against the heated iron burnt stains. Make sure you hold the tablet with tweezers to avoid burn. And then gently wipe the iron with a damp warm cloth.


7) Clean Your Microwave Naturally with Lemon and Water!

Microwaves carry so many food stains in them thanks to the daily use! If you want to clean your microwave without putting much effort? Then simply heat up lemon and water in the microwave for 30 seconds or a minute and then wipe away the microwave to leave it spotless and odorless!


8) Spilled nail polish on Clothes? Use Rubbing Alcohol and a Microfiber Cloth to Clean It!

Nail polish stain is a tough stain to remove. However, it’s not impossible. Simply use a strong rubbing alcohol solution and wipe the dried up nail paint stain with a strong microfiber cloth to clean it off!


9) Make Your Old Sneakers Brand New by Cleaning Them With Toothpaste!

Want to make your white sneakers look brand new? Use toothpaste and scrub them with off with a toothbrush for targetted cleaning and see them sparkle! Use detergent can cause the color to fade thus, toothpaste works wonders.
