Rangers and Army Soldiers Distribute Ration Bags in Karachi

With the help of philanthropists, rangers and army soldiers are distributing food in different parts of Karachi during the lockdown imposed to contain the coronavirus.

The security forces distributed ration beds in several neighbourhoods of the city, including Zia colony, UC-13 Korangi, UC-13 SFT, Landhi, Malir’s Khokrapar and Azeem Gabool Goth.

Personnel from the ranger forces say that the food and ration bags have been distributed among the families in need, unemployed people and daily wagers. They also added that over 2000 bags have been given out so far.

During the distribution, they also conducted awareness session to make these people develop a better understanding about the novel coronavirus. They also appealed to the citizens that they follow the government guidelines and observe home-quarantine so that the ration is distributed in a more organized fashion, and also to reduce the spread of the virus.

The residents praised the efforts made by the Rangers and the Pakistani Army. They also distributed the ration bags to the Christian community at a church in Mehmoodabad.
