Fawad Chaudhry States That Pakistan Will Soon Announce Drone Policy Again

Fawad Chaudhry. the Minister of Science and Technology of Pakistan recently stated that Pakistan would finally soon announce its drone policy after consultation with all the stakeholders.

While speaking to the news anchor, Hamid Mir, Mr. Chaudhry had mentioned that there was a ban on the usage of drones in Pakistan but and further added that he has spoked to the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan in this regard and that a national policy on this would soon be announced.

“Initially drones were used for defence purposes but now they are a very important monitoring tool for police and agriculture sector,” said the minister.

On Monday, Chaudhry said the drones completely capable of controlling farms and spraying disinfectants would revolutionize the farming and agriculture business.
