Release of Warner Bros. Wonder Woman 1984 Postponed Due to Covid-19 Outbreak

Among the most recent victims of the posst-pandemic postponing is Gal Gadot’s starrer – Wonder Woman 1984. The movie was originally scheduled to release in June 2020, but has now been pushed ahead.

Warnner Bros announced that the release of 2017’s DC Comics film’s sequel, Wonder Woman 1984, has been postponed till August 14th due to the Covid-19 outbreak.

There are also rumours that the superhero film, starring Gal Gadot in the lead role, will have an online release. However, it seems that Warner Bros understands that such an action-packed should ideally be released in cinemas only. After all, these films have hefty amounts of money invested in their making.

In response to the news, Gal Gadot said on her official Instagram account, “In these dark and scary times, I am looking forward to a brighter future ahead. Where we can share the power of cinema together again. Excited to redate our WW84 film to August 14, 2020. I hope everyone is safe. Sending my love to you all.”
