Card games are always a fun way to beat the boredom and also a great way to spend more time with your family and friends!

No matter where you are or what the occasion is, you can have your classic card decks with you and make the get-together more fun!

But, instead of just playing conventional boring card games, here are super fun card games you can play that is suitable for all ages!

1. Go Fish!

NUMBER OF PLAYERS: 2-4
NUMBER OF CARDS: All 52 cards
DIFFICULTY: Easy!

Go fish is a super fun and exciting game. It can be played by a total of 4 players and the aim of this game to collect all 4 numbers of each card.

The game can be played by 2 – 4 players. First cards are dealt to the players, if there are 2 players then each gets 7 cards, if there are 3 players then each gets 6 cards and if there are 4 players then each gets 5 cards. Once the dealing is done the rest of the deck is put in a random pile on the table.

2. Bluff

NUMBER OF PLAYERS: 3-10 players
NUMBER OF CARDS: 52 deck cards

DIFFICULTY: Medium

In this fun and exciting game, the object is to get rid of all your cards as fast as you can, and before all the other players, even if it means bluffing through it!

Cards are shuffled and evenly dispersed to each player. A single player is nominated to be lead After one player has played down a card, before the next player plays, anyone in the game may challenge the authenticity of the other player’s card. Players who wish to initiate a challenge do so by placing their hand on the stack and calling, “Bluff!” If the cards are not the rank declared by the player, they must grab the stack and add it to their hand. If the cards are the rank declared, the player who called Bluff takes the centre stack into their hand.

3. Slapjack

NUMBER OF PLAYERS: 2-5 players
NUMBER OF CARDS: All 52 deck cards

DIFFICULTY: Easy (and a little bit of luck)

As quirky as the name sounds, this game is equally fun and hilarious. The aim of the aim is to collect cards all Jack cards, by of course as the name suggests, by slapping the card!

Deal cards to your friends one at a time and face down until all the cards have been dealt. Without looking at any of the cards, each player squares up their hand into a neat pile in front of them. If a player slaps at any card in the center that is not a jack, they must give one card, face down, to the player of that card. When a player has no more cards left, they remain in the game until the next jack is turned. The player may slap at the jack in an effort to get a new pile.

4. War

NUMBER OF PLAYERS: 2 players
NUMBER OF CARDS: All 52 deck cards

DIFFICULTY: Easy

This game has been a childhood favourite game! The aim of the game is to win all the cards!

It is played by both players placing a card on top of their deck onto the center of the table. The player whose card is higher in value takes both cards and places them in a separate pile next to their deck. Once a player runs out of cards in their deck, they shuffle all of the cards in their win pile and continue to play.

If players play cards of the same value, then there is a war. Players will place three of their cards faced down on the table and draw again. The winner of the war takes both pairs of played cards and the three cards faced down, winning five of their opponent’s cards!

5. Rummy

NUMBER OF PLAYERS: 2 players
NUMBER OF CARDS: All 52 deck cards

DIFFICULTY: Medium-Hard

The objective of this fun but tactical rummy card game is to arrange the 13 cards in proper sets and sequences and to win this card game you need to make a minimum 2 sequences!

In rummy, a sequence is a group of three or more consecutive cards of the same suit. There are two types of sequences that are formed; a pure sequence and an impure sequence. To win the game of rummy you need at least one pure sequence in your rummy hand.
