A 20 Year Old Pakistani Becomes One of the Richest Pro Gamers in the World

Gaming companies like eSports, that make professional video game competitions, the whole industry is evolving into a very profitable one. And along all this, gamers are also benefiting a lot.
Top players collect their salaries and endorsement deals that are almost on par with those earned by traditional athletes. And the good news is that Pakistanis are not much behind in the league.
20-year old Pakistani boy, Sumail Hasan Syed, has been listed as one of top earning players with around $3.6 million earning till now. Hassan first made history when he helped his team, Evil Geniuses, claim the Asian championship for Defense of the Ancient 2 (Dot 2) in China.
Hassan moved to the United States only a few years back, where he had quite the influence in the in-house gaming league for North America. There he was also picked up by one of the biggest e-sports team, the Evil Geniuses.
He’s the youngest gamer to have surpassed the $1 million mark in earnings, making him one of the most-sought after players in the gaming world. Hassan has also been featured in the Time Magazine’s top 30 influential teenagers of 2016.
Later he joined the Quincy Crew team alongside his brother Yawar. But due to some contractual issue, they had to exit the team. As a result, he couldn’t compete for the DreamLeague Leipzig Major and the WePlay! Bukovel Minor in 2019.
