Billie Eilish Wins All Top 5 Awards in the 62nd Grammy Awards

The 18 year old American singer and song writer, Billie Eilish, was the biggest winner of the 62nd Grammy that took place on Sunday.

She bagged the most awards in the award show, winning majority of all the top categories. She won five awards that included the best album, best record and song of the year, and the best new artist. Making her the youngest artist to win “album of the year”.

She is the first artist to bag all the top award categories after Christopher Cross in 1981.

Her latest no.1 hit, “Bad Guy,” won the song and record of the year. Whereas, her album “When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?” won album of the year along with the best pop vocal album.

Her brother, Finneas O’Connell, won producer of the year award and also is her producing partner and produces and writes most her song for her.

In his award acceptance speech, O’Connell along with his sister stated,

“We didn’t make this album to win a Grammy. We didn’t think it would win anything ever. We wrote an album about depression, suicidal thoughts, and climate change, and being the bad guy, whatever that means. We stand up here confused and grateful,” he said.
