Court Gives Production Order for Shahrukh Jatoi

On Saturday, a local court issued production order for the murder convict Shahrukh Jatoi as he was found leaving the country despite strict restrictions.

An additional district and sessions judge was hearing the case. Jail officials told the court that the Sindh Home Department has placed restrictions on Jatoi’s movements. Which is why, he couldn’t be presented. Due to this, the indictment couldn’t be issued against the convict.

The court accepted the plea that the accused travel agents had filed, ordering their acquittal from this case. The judge also ordered the jail official to present Jatoi at the next court hearing.

The prosecution holds Shahrukh Jatoi responsible for shooting and killing a citizen, Shahzeb Khan, on December 25, 2012, before he fled the country.
