How to Lose Weight in No Time!
Are you someone who’s been looking for ways to lose your weight fast?
Losing weight can be a struggle for many of us. And while we couldn’t agree more with the fact that our body is perfect just the way it is, that doesn’t mean it’s okay to be overweight.
Obesity isn’t just a cosmetic concern . It’s a complex health disease that can lead to other medical conditions related to heart, lungs, digestion, gynecological, osteoarthritis, and several others.
All in all, it’s safe to say that obesity can be the root cause for many serious problems. Let’s try to battle this condition by including some simple and natural habits into our daily routine.
Here are some tips to get you started:
Exercise Daily
Too often, the major reason behind excess weight can be lack of physical activity. Sometimes we tend to get used to a lazy lifestyle which can really add that extra mass to our body. Rectify this routine by consciously trying to get more exercise on a daily basis.
Perhaps you can join a yoga class or a gym to help you get daily exercise -something you’re otherwise very likely to skip! And trust us when we say that you’ll be surprised how exhilarating a regular workout can be!
Walk, Walk and Walk!
While we’re still talking about exercise, we’d also like to add that walking regularly can also really help tone your body. It’s a great way to get some exercise without exerting yourself too much.
We suggest you find a good walking track or a nice park to achieve your daily steps target. An open space would be a good ideas because the extra oxygen in the air can also be really good for your body.
Cardio is Overrated
Is getting a good exercise for you equivalent to a good cardio workout like swimming, cycling, or using an elliptical? Then allow us to tell you that cardio can be overrated!
For quick and effective results, you need both strength training and cardio to go hand in hand. Perhaps if you dedicate some days of the week to weight-lifting, then hopefully, you should be able to see noticeable results in due time.
Don’t Sleep Immediately After a Meal
Ever heard of food-coma? It’s a state of drowsiness and sleepiness that takes over after you’ve had a fulfilling and oily meal. And let’s just admit that we’re all guilty of giving into this temptation every now and then.
Well, you should know that although a good sleep after the meal can be quite relaxing, it can also work its unwarranted magic in adding those extra kilos to your weight.
Try getting around this inadvisable habit by shifting to a more healthy diet. We suggest that you cut down on your fat intake, and go for a more wholegrain and fiber diet. Reduce your daily calorie intake and you’ll notice your food coma decrease gradually.
Caloric Deficit
What is caloric deficit? Simply put, it’s the shortage in the amount of calories consumed compared to the total amount of calories you need in order to maintain your body weight.
Well, the idea behind this is to consume a lesser amount of calories than your required total. This doesn’t mean that you have to eat a certain kind of diet – whatever you eat, just make sure your calorie intake is smaller. For example, if your total required calorie intake is around 2000, then you should consume around 1800 calories.
This is the only way to reduce weight. As long as you maintain a caloric deficit, you won’t gain weight. But if you exceed it every so often, of course the excess calorie intake will start to show in your weight.
There are two ways to maintain a caloric deficit – either you eat less or you burn the extra calories. And this brings us back to the importance of getting regular exercise!
It’s Okay to Fall Off the Track!
Before we pack up this article, we want to say one thing, don’t obsess over your food intake! If you end up falling off the bandwagon, go easy on yourself. It’s okay!
Even if you end up having that unplanned candy, try to make up for the cheat later. Everyone falls off the track, so relax and keep going! Just remember you’ve been doing really well, and you’re going to be just fine!
