Iqra University Plans to Open Campuses in Four Countries

Iqra University, one of Pakistan’s well known universities, plans to open its campuses in four other countries including Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Sri Lanka and Turkey.

This decision was taken by IU’s board of governors’ during their meeting with the Chancellor, Erum Lakhani in the chair.

Their aim is to promote Pakistan’s culture and soft image in the foreign world according to the Vice Chancellor, Dr.Wasim Qazi. This establishment of foreign campuses was approved by the Board of Governors. They also approved the establishment of Bahria Town campus, medical and dental college along with art facilities as well.

Iqra University is also known to be Pakistan’s no.1 private sector university with Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad.
