Islamabad: Department of Archaeology and Museums To Hold a Photographic Exhibition on Kashmir Day
The Federal Department of Archaeology and Museums (DOAM) has decided to hold a photographic exhibition on the 5th of February on Kashmir Day to express solidarity with Kashmiris.
The photo exhibition will aim to aim to highlight the brutality done by the Indian forces in Occupied Kashmir and the atrocities faced by the people living there. This exhibition will be a part of the activities that are to take place in Islamabad Museum in accordance with the instructions of the Pakistani Government.
A government official stated, “The entire nation stands with the Kashmiris and we believe that the struggle of the Kashmiri people will bear fruit and the bright morning of independence will surely dawn upon Kashmiris.”
He furthermore added that there will be more than 100 images displayed in the exhibition that will raise awareness and concern on the miseries faced by the people of Kashmir. The atrocities include them being victims of pellets guns. The children, and students being murdered and the lockdown of streets that people in the occupied Kashmir suffer frequently.
