Pakistani Minister invites Tesla’s Elon Musk to Establish a Factory in Pakistan

The Federal Minister for Science and Technology of Pakistan, Fawad Chaudhry on a Tweet has recommended the American billionaire, Elon Musk, to establish a factory for electric vehicles in Pakistan.

The minister was reacting over Elon Musk’s tweet to Al Arabia English tweet that stated his plan to build half a million electric vehicles a year at its future factory outside of Berlin. Elon Musk is the owner of Tesla who recently broke the record for having most satellites in space.

The Minister, Fawad Chaudary replied on Twitter and tagging Musk to this statement.

His tweet stated, “Dear Elon Musk your next destination may be Pakistan where 68 per cent of the world population lives within 3.5 hours flight radius from Islamabad. ” He further added, “We offer ten years zero tax facility and custom free import for factory setup in Pakistan. No other country may offer, plus we are the world’s 3rd biggest freelance software exporters in Pakistan”.

According to the reports on media, the American automotive and energy company, Tesla, is planning to build half a million electric vehicles a year at its future factory outside Berlin. Tesla company revealed that the US automaker wants to construct Model 3 and Model Y vehicles at the site in Gruenheide. This factory would be Tesla’s fourth factory and will include a facility that allows for the vast production of electric vehicles that includes the production of the batteries as well.

Tesla aims to start operating the plant in July 2021.
