Pakistani Short Film “Bench” Wins at South Shore Film Festival, New York

Pakistan actor and director Usman Mukhtar Bench‘s has won the best short film award at the South Shore Film Festival, New York. The trailer of the film was unveiled on YouTube in June.

Mukhar revealed the news to his followers on his Twitter account where he posted:

“Bench wins at South Shore Film Festival, New York! Thank you Team!”

Many celebrities retweeted and congratulated him on the big win which also included co-star Osman Khalid Butt.

Directed by Mukhtar with the script written by Ali Mudar Bench is a centric dialogue film that sees two characters come across each other, both at complicated crossroads in their respective lives.

The film was previously nominated in the best short film category at the Independent Short Awards festival in Los Angeles, USA.
