Prime Minister Imran Khan decides to reduce food prices in Pakistan. He has said that government will announce the measure to reduce the prices of basic food items on Tuesday.
He said that he understood all the difficulties people are facing due to inflation. All this was conveyed through his tweets.
All these measures are supposed to be decided over a meeting on Tuesday. According to the PM, the government is investigating about the sugar and flour price hikes. He also added that all those accountable will also be penalised for it. Customers are quite worried over how to make ends meet because inflation in Pakistan has climbed to 14.6% in January and the sugar and flour prices have increased to a great extent. Similarly, tariffs on imported goods have also increased.
