The Undertaker Announces Retirement from WWE

The WWE legend, the Undertaker, may have recently announced his retirement from the wrestling game. In the final episode of the Last Ride, the legendary wrestler said that he had done everything there was to do in the game and that he has “no desire to get back in the ring.”

The Last Ride is a docuseries covering the last three years of the Undertaking, whose real name is Mark Calaway. In the named episode, Calaway recalled his face-off with AJ Styles at Wrestlemania this year. He described this match as “the perfect ending to a career” that had gone on for more than three decades.

“There was a lot of thought, a lot of emotion that went through my head, one of those being, ‘Are you happy enough with that?’ It was just a powerful moment, and you don’t always necessarily get those. Man, if there was ever a perfect ending to a career, that right there is it,” Calaway said.

“If Vince [McMahon] was in a pinch, would I come back? I guess time will only tell, there. In case of emergency, break glass, you pull out the Undertaker, I would have to consider that. Never say never, but at this point in my life and my career, I have no desire to get back in the ring. … I’ve got a pit in my stomach right now,” he said.
